This season, with all the anticipation and excitement, can be stressful, if not overwhelming for some of us. We may have joyus memories mixed with loss, sadness, and grief. Sometimes we may need a quiet moment to center ourselves and accept all of our emotions as valid and true. Our Quiet Christmas service is intended to provide a place and time for this. This service features instrumental music, reassuring readings, and the comfort of community. If you feel you need a respite from the Christmas storm please join us on December 19 any time after 7:00 p.m. for shortbread cookies as we gather for this reflective service.

Worship at Leaside U.C. – Nov 17, 2024

This Sunday, Nov 17 we will hear Hannah’s Song as part of our scripture readings, and sing it as one of our hymns. Like Mary’s Song (the Magnificat) many centuries later, Hannah sings about a God who transforms the world, lifting up the last and least.
We will also launch the Stewardship campaign and take time to think about being in the Centennary Year of the United Church of Canada. To view the service again please click on this link

31st Annual Variety Show – Friday, April 28th at 7 pm

Join us this Friday for our 31st Annual Variety Show at Leaside United Church (822 Millwood Road). The doors open at 6:30 am. There are light refreshments at Intermission and a Cash Bar before the show and during intermission.
