Next Awesome Sale dates are FRI, MAY 10 and SAT, MAY 11

The Awesome Sale will return to Leaside United Church on May 10th and May 11th, 2024 (872 Millwood Road). More details will follow when they become available. PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT bring your donations to the church until a month before the sale (specific dates and times will be issued later). We currently have many renters and church groups occupying our space and do not have the room to store donations until a month before the sale. Thank you for your continued support of this great community event known as “The Miracle on Millwood.”

Sunday, Mar 3 at 10:30am is the third Sunday during Lent. We will read about Jesus overturning the tables of the moneychangers in John’s Gospel (John 2:13-22). Sunday, Feb 25 at 10:30am our weekly worship continues with “Pilgrims on a Journey.” This Sunday is the second Sunday during Lent. We will read about Jesus’s call to “take up the cross” (Mark 8:31-38). Our music will include the hymns “Will You Come and Follow Me” and “We are Pilgrims” as well as the anthem “Steal Away” arranged by Diedre Robinson. Our service will include the anthem Peace Like a River arr. by Donald Moore, and the hymns To the Desert Jesus Came and Dust and Ashes Touch Our Face.
