The C-Flats is a youth jazz ensemble directed by Cynda Fleming that has been going strong at Leaside United Church for the last 18 years! Rehearsals are starting up again for the fall season, and all students from grade 6 to 12 are welcome to join the band regardless of experience or ability! The parts are composed specifically for each musician, so students who can play 2 notes can be in the same band as those with years of experience.
The rehearsals are on Mondays from 7:15 to 8 pm, and there is no cost to join, in fact, you can earn volunteer hours for playing in the band!
