Music is central to worship at Leaside United Church.
Our Sunday Worship Services are filled with the extraordinary talents of the Chancel Choir under the direction of Matthew Boutda, our Director of Music.The Chancel Choir consists of a group of approximately 20-voices. This includes a professional core and volunteer singers.
The Chancel Choir leads our hymn singing and sings an anthem each Sunday. Our hymns are selected from Voices United and More Voices. We also enjoy soloists and guest instrumentalists. Our organist also provides enjoyable preludes and postludes on our Casavant pipe organ.
The choir provides musical leadership at the Sunday 10:30am weekly worship services and rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. New members are welcome.
