This Sunday was our Summer In the Wild gathering. We also had a picnic lunch starting at 11:45/noon with time to chat about our summer and how we’ve been spending time appreciating nature. This was followed by a nature scavenger hunt with intergenerational teams. This was the first of three weeks at Leaside United as we share joint services at 10:30 am this summer. People requested favourite hymns for our gathering music, and our theme was Deep Spirituality, as we take time to reflect on the three parts of the United Church’s Call (adopted in 2022) – one each week.
