Leaves and Blossoms Workshop October 22nd

You are invited to be part of a community project! We are designing some beautiful new banners to use in our sanctuary that will reflect our community and relate to the natural world. One banner will represent the Burr Oak tree on our lawn, and the other the Magnolia. You are invited to be a part of creating leaves or blossoms to be a part of this project!

Join us on October 22nd for workshops on how to make the leaves and blossoms. You can make leaves 10-12, make blossoms 1-3, or come for the whole day (lunch provided) and work on both. No experience is required! We have experienced sewers who will help you through the process, and need people to do tasks that don’t involve needles and threads such as cutting.

Or, if you cannot attend on the 22nd, sign up for a kit to make it yourself at home.

We are hoping to have many people who are part of our extended Leaside community take part, so please invite family, friends, and neighbours to join us as well.
