Nov 10 is Remembrance Sunday and we will celebrate the Sacrament of Communion. We will be joined by Cynda Fleming on Trumpet as well as the Junior Choir. To listen to the service, please click this LINK.
On Nov 3 we will celebrate Infant Baptisms, and conclude our three week theme with “Daring Justice.” Our music will include the hymns What Does the Lord Require of You and For the Healing of the Nations, as well as the Anthem I’ll Be on My Way arranged by Shawn Kirchner. We welcome violinist Laura Nadine Dooley. This is a wonderful Sunday to attend in person! As for other times we’ve baptized infants and young children, we will begin the livestream after the baptisms, which will be at the start of the service. This Sunday, Oct 27, we continue with our series on the Call of the United Church of Canada: “Bold Discipleship” as we have a very special service with baptism, reaffirmation of baptismal faith, and transfer of membership. It is also Celebration Sunday and we will celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and other good news at the end of the service. Our music will include hymns, I Will Call You By Your Name, Travel On, Travel On, and Today We All Are Called to Be Disciples, and the Anthem is I Choose Love by Mark Miller.
