Faith Exploration
For youth 12 years old and up
This
program will focus on questions related to faith and spirituality and encourage
personal reflection and group discussion.
Th
goal of this program is that youth will be able to make one of three informed
choices:
- To affirm/re-affirm their baptismal
faith
- Not to affirm or re-affirm their
baptismal faith
- To wait and make their decision at a
later time
The
program will run from October to May, and include 7 in-house sessions, 4 field
trips and 3 volunteering opportunities at Leaside United Church. We ask
participants to commit to attending at least 5 in-house sessions and 2 field
trips, and to volunteer 3 times at Leaside United Church.
Due to the large amount of preparation that goes into that program we ask that you kindly confirm participation with Natalie (jahnnatalie123@gmail.com) by Sunday Sept 29th, 2019.
