Due to our renovations at Leaside United we will not be having a Pancake Supper on February 25. However, several churches in the neighbourhood are hosting the event and warmly welcome you to attend their suppers:

Renovation Update – January 23, 2020

BASEMENT – WORK IN PROGRESS:

1. An open reception and display area is being developed between the auditorium and new kitchen. The auditorium stage and storage cupboards have been removed.

2. Fondly known as “Bob’s Office”, this Awesome Sale storage room beside the Auditorium is being prepared for the installation of new washrooms.

3. The work in progress in the downstairs kitchen continues. There will be improved access to the gymnasium and the reception and display area off of the auditorium shown in photo #1.

4. In the gymnasium, here is a photo of the area being prepared to be a base under a new gymnasium floor. This green plastic membrane covers gravel and a dirt/sand base.

5. A five inch concrete slab underfloor has been poured as a base in the gymnasium. After satisfactory drying a beautiful new gymnasium floor will be laid.

he Variety Show at Leaside United will be here before we know it on Friday, February 28, 2020. Have you registered your act yet with Jane and Tracy? Come and show your talent at this wonderful community fundraiser for The Neighbourhood Office (TNO) Summer Camp programs.

We were able to send 30 kids to camp with last year’s donations! Your time, talent and gifts make a big difference in the community! Looking forward to seeing you at The Variety Show next month!
