Presteign-Woodbine
Pictures from our Birthday Celebration
Enjoy these great pictures taken by our volunteer photographer Murray Fenner on Sunday June 10th as we celebrated our first Birthday as a new congregation born from the merge of Leaside United and Presteign-Woodbine United Churches.
We also had a chance to celebrate the retirement of our church accountant John Rooke after 10 years of service at LUC.
There was face painting, new church directories, a mini theatre playing “The Quilt Maker’s Gift”, a Toy Swap table, an Arts & Crafts gallery and cake, lots of cake!

A Day of Celebration!
What a wonderful day of celebration we enjoyed together!
We celebrated one year of being a new community of people with the merge of Leaside United Church and Presteign-Woodbine United Church.
There was face painting, a mini theater playing The Quilt Maker’s Gift on a loop, a fabulous Arts & Crafts Gallery exhibiting our community of talented artists and craftspeople and a lovely send off to our Church Accountant John Rooke, who is retiring from LUC after 10 years of service. The Stewardship slideshow re-lived our moments together over the past year and there was not ONE cake but THREE for us to share.
It sure was an exciting day at the new Leaside United Church! Thank you to all who made it such a joyful event!
