Lent, Feasting, Fasting, Mardi Gras, and All That Jazz!

Join us to share your thoughts and experiences of Lent/Mardi Gras — fasting? feasting? repenting? returning? rejoicing? renewing? rebooting? re-energizing? With a little help from Louis Armstrong and his trumpet, we will reflect on the Saints as they Go Marching In, on choosing to walk the Sunny Side of the Street, and on being part of a Wonderful World.

Lucy Burke will be our leader. All welcome. Bring your own beverage and snacks.

Then, consider joining Lucy for a follow-up field trip to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian, for their annual Mardi Gras jazz celebration on Friday February 21st.

7-8:30 pm, Feb 5 and 12, 2020. Led by Rev. Dr. Deborah Hart. She has specialized in pastoral ministry and particularly the area of Grief, and been facilitating Grief Support groups for over 25 years. At Deer Park United/Calvin Presbyterian Church, 26 Delisle Ave. A block north of Yonge and St. Clair, west of Yonge. There is GreenP next door and subway at Yonge and St, Clair. Entrance is at the end of the “ramp” driveway, at the ofce entrance.
